FACILITY MANAGEMENT 2005 outstandingly successful
On 21 April 2005, the FACILITY MANAGEMENT Exhibition Europe 2005 and the European Facility Management Conference (EFMC) closed their doors after three outstandingly successful days. For the first time the events took place in Frankfurt, Germany, which turned out to be just a perfect choice of location. With 3,423 trade visitors, the event exceeded the expectations of many exhibitors. The atmosphere was extremely positive and the exhibitors were deeply satisfied with the number and quality of their contacts. For the first time in Germany, a special-interest event focussed on facility management provided a truly international market place on the topic, including both an exhibition and an international conference program with the support of all leading associations. The European Facility Management Conference (EFMC) was organised and supported by The European Facility Management Network (EuroFM), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and hosted by the German Facility Management Association (GEFMA). 478 participants attended the conference, about 45% of them coming from outside Germany. All in all 29 countries were represented at the event. This successful co-operation will be continued in 2006. The respective contracts were signed on the first day of the event by EuroFM, IFMA; GEFMA and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.The figures in short:
