The Practice Network Group (PNG) plays a leading role in bringing together the national organisations representing practitioners in FM to form a European body of FM professionals. One of the most prominent objectives is to improve the performance of business/companies and help organisations to be more productive, effective and creative as a result of continuous professional developments within the EuroFM network. The Practice Network Group’s work is dependent upon a broad contribution with appropriate professional focus from the National Practice Organisations, which must be ready to contribute actively in recruiting own professional resources in work groups relevant to the prioritised objectives.

The Practice Network Group brings together the national organisations representing practitioners in FM to form a European body of FM professionals and facilitate an exchange of national activities, developments and events. The PNG defines the requirements for professional education and work with the RNG to define research subjects relevant to the FM practitioner.

.

The aim of the Education Network Group (ENG) is to act as a platform, from which mutual interest and support can be exchanged. This is targeted towards group members and non-members who deal with FM education in the broadest sense of the word. As one of the three focus groups of EuroFM, the Education Network Group will develop plans and activities in close harmony with the other two groups in order to be the leading authority within FM education. As well as being a party of active members, the Education Network Group is a virtual party of people exchanging educational ideas and best practices. To cover a broad range of issues, the Education Network Group will consist of ‘task groups’ which will focus on different topics.

The Education Network Group consists of educators, students and people with an educational interest in academic tuition as well as training for FM practice. Apart from organising forums which will be held at the annual EuroFM conference, the Education Network Group will develop various projects. The agenda for these will be drafted by the Education Network Group in approval with EuroFM as a whole.

The role, or function, of the Education Network Group within EuroFM is to enable EuroFM to set standards of education in FM throughout Europe and to facilitate an active education network in Europe reflecting the integrated approach to FM education, research and practice.
Another role is to assist education establishments in the drafting of their FM curriculum, and to guide FM students to study with EuroFM Member universities. Especially in countries where no curriculum exists yet.

One of the main objectives of the RNG is to develop a fully operable audit process for education standards in facility management and to work towards a European qualification
through training and under / post graduate courses and recognition of one European title for FM (under)graduates.

The Corporate Associates group form a special category thas supporters of the EuroFM common interest and they are supposed to play an active role in the activities and projects of the different groups. They represent commercial client and provider organisations and are dealing in products for the field of facility management (internal or external/outsourced) and are operating preferably on a national or international level. For reasons of continuity or business development they do R&D (research and development) on subjects of FM or associated. They also may have good relations with educational institutes to support the teaching of FM in the broadest sense.
